However, if you do the research you will discover that God was not talking about human beings when He said "let us create man in our own image." You will find that say He was talking about humans is to take the verse out of context. Most people conclude that He was talking to the rest of the Trinity. Which would make sense considering the Trinity is made up of three persons. Also, mabye Eve was taken from Adam's genes, but it was God that created her, not man. Just because God does something, does not give us the right to do it because there are some things that God can do without sinning that we can't.
