john l bachert ( 03/01/2004, 03:58:58 )what of the children that suffer know because they were born with birth defects caused from pollution, or the children who have cancer and are going to die, yet we have the technology to persue cures and replace limbs and organs yet the fools of the world want to prohibit that possbility. i guarantee the rich wealthy and political arena people will have access to the possibilities, but see we are the world masses, expendable! even our own government would consider sacrificing several thousand people to save those in power or to start a war! what about the monthly cycle of a woman that flushes out an egg that didn't get to be a human? times that by the number of women in the world who cycle once a month. make laws so that women can have their eggs harvested for their personal use, to sell, store and save for future uses in stem cell therapy, application or whatever the possibilities! we can not allow government to opress and supress our rights to what we do with or to ourselves, hell if suspended animation ever becomes a thing of reality, i'll be a volunteer, can you imagine to awaken a hundred years into the future? and then have the ability to live even longer by then? hey! if anyone doesn't want to go that route, fine! that is their choice and right, leave mine alone! enough said for now.
