Illegal Beings: Human Clones

My David Letterman-style list: which is your favorite?

SC ( 03/05/2004, 05:42:48 )

Here are some reasons why people are against human cloning. If enough people vote, maybe I can make it into a "top ten" list:They watched the last Star Wars movie a few too many times. They have a natural advantage over those less fortunate, and don't want them catching up.They want to make a few fast bucks writing horror stories, but they always had trouble with character and plot development. They have a positive cloning announcement they want to make, and think that, by making a negative announcement at the same time, they'll get more publicity. Some of their worst friends are against cloning. They're stalling for time so that their company can secretly develop it before someone else does. They believe that eternal life is against their religion. They can't stand the thought of literally having to live with themselves. They're worried that somebody might recreate Hitler, and he'll seem like a nice guy in comparison to them.Absurd arguments are just that much more appealing.
