Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: more to think about

Kewillia5 ( 04/12/2004, 10:27:22 )

Oh my god! Do any of you people take science classes? Do you know anything about basic ecology or cell biology, histology, anatomy, endocrinology or any blasted thing under the sun (and some of you don't even know English very well!). Let's take a step away from the world you think you are in and venture into the realm of reality for a second. We are animals--not a special animal but an animal just like a cow or a pig or an ape or a green sunfish (if you even know what a sunfish is). However, EVOLUTION has designed our bodies to be carnivores and therefore it is in our nature to eat meat. However, that does not me we are at the top of the food chain. Put a human and a bear in a room together and let's see who is eating who at the end of the day. Therefore, cloning pigs, sheep, cows, chickens--does it matter? Is it really any different from cloning a human? What makes it any more or less moral to clone humans than it is to clone a sheep? We wouldn't be cloning those little bastards for food--gross--we would be cloning them for the same reason we would clone ourselves. The main reason would be medicinal. A "warehouse" for organs, hormones, anitbiotics--think about cloning the cure for AIDS in your own body to save hundreds of millions around the friggin world! Does it mean that it is moral is the question that people keep dancing around. That is something that is based upon judgement and opinion. The fact that cloning humans would help us live longer, jump higher, swim faster is no question. But if that means that creating a world even more full of ignorant people who like to talk out of their bums (like almost everyone I have read a post from in this forum), then NO THANK YOU! I would like my check please!Oh, and as for God...who has the right to say that they know the true feelings of God--if he exists. Even if he does, how are we sure that his words are accurately portrayed in the best work of fiction (that was BASED partially on a true story) in the world (A.K.A. the bible)? We don't. However, there is plenty of hand holdable evidence for evolution and even evidence for an origin of life that comes from an abiotic origin (that means not organic stuff but inorganic stuff--some electricity and non-organic carbon). So, let us try to substantiate our arguments accordingly and not use too much inaccurate stuff, but instead do research and educate yourselves before you all loose any more brain cells!!!Why do I waste my time!
