john l bachert ( 04/16/2004, 08:07:05 )that was a very nice presentation Talon, impressive information, i have read up on all of this. on one point regarding the cloning of stock animals for food etc.... we have such a problem with over population of humans and there's going to be food shortages, i wonder what these anti clone persons think about the fact that another type of living thing has been cloned for centuries, plants(organic) i think it would be wise to cultivate clean disease free chickens and fish instead of harvesting mercury laced fish from the wild or worry about, virus laced chickens, i see nothing wrong with stem cell manipulation for organ and limb replacement and apparently the supreme being doesn't mind or it would be putting a stop to it before it was started. i must ask you, what would be your take on a theory that we have been to this point in our technology once before? i have a theory that maybe we were asexual at one point and either a super intelligent alien or a advanced human once was able to separate the female and male genetic species from the asexual being, or maybe through stem cell manipulation, see my total theory hinges on the idea that we(humans) were transplanted here(colonized) by either a advanced human kind or something more mature. i won't go into depth on this subject or my theory, but wouldn't it be as logical a theory as any we know today? or have been programmed to believe? maybe you'll buy my book soon as i get it published, so i'll stop here, thank for your input and thanx for you knowledge into cloning, it actually reinforces the possibility of my theory, john
