Reproductive Cloning in Japan?
libfemme ( 04/16/2004, 13:24:07 )During this week's two-day seminar at Ho Chi Minh City's University of Agriculture and Forestry's, doctorial student Nguyen Duc Thanh said that the new cloning methods discussed at the conference would apply also to aiding infertile couples.About 150 scientists from Japan, Thailand and Vietnam gathered to review new biotechnology techniques in gene cloning. Thuan said there were no plans to begin of cloning in Vietnam, but noted that Japan is second only to Britain in cloning techniques.
