Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Cloning: the pros and cons.

abbyn ( 10/20/2003, 11:48:24 )

I am a junior in college and am writing a values paper on human cloning. (It's not a formal research paper, but a paper more like an editorial in a newspaper.)I currently do not beleive humans should be cloned due to my religious beliefs that humans should not "play God" with other humans. I do belive cloning has wonderful potential in cloning body parts for transplants, and also reviving endangered/extinct animal populations (but only those animals that are endagered or extinct due to human intervention, such as the Thylacine).Anyways, getting back on topic. To write this paper I'd like to know what contraversies have been discussed in the past and what the most common arguments for and against that you have seen.Thank you for your time!
