I've found it!libfemme ( 04/22/2004, 09:06:36 )How about Exodus 21:22-25 "And if men struggle and strike a woman with child so that she has a miscarriage, yet there is no further injury, he shall be fined as the woman's husband may demand of him, and he shall pay as the judges decide. But if there is any further injury, then you shall appoint as a penalty life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise." Oh wait! That one proves that killing a fetus shouuld only punishble by a fine. While causing "injury" to a woman a carries a higher penalty. Gee biblical law makes a distinction between a born person, a woman, and the unborn. But if the death of a fetus isn't murder, then the "Unborn Victims Act" is contra to biblical law.And if killing a fetus isn't murder, then how can the destruction of an embryo, an even earlier undifferentiated form, be murder? Ok, you've got me stumped. I can't find where in the bible it covers this situation at all. ![]() This Message is being posted for educational purposes, as well as for comment and criticism, by the visitors to the HumanCloning.org Foundation website (www.HumanCloning.org ).
