Re: Normalcy Among Childrenseanofaris ( 05/06/2004, 03:06:05 )In European countries people don't typically drink to get drunk. They drink it as a beverage just as we would drink tea water or milk. I live in Germany for a period of time and that's what happens. When i was little i would sometimes be able to drink alchohol even thouggh i was an american because it is customary. Here in America it is more common for people to use alchohol in excess. When American Highschool students go to europe for foreign language trips it isn't uncommon to see the "natives" ACTUALLY TRYING to get the students drunk for entertainment value. In america we have strict drinking laws that say that you can't drink until you are 21 years of age. This causes temptation for teenagers to show off and get drunk just like an adult could because it makes them look "mature". When you drink in excess too often your body eventually developes a tolerence and then an addiction to the substance. This addiction is carried on to the offspring and alchoholism is introduced to the family line. ![]() This Message is being posted for educational purposes, as well as for comment and criticism, by the visitors to the HumanCloning.org Foundation website (www.HumanCloning.org ).
