seanofaris ( 05/07/2004, 03:36:20 )Hey Amanda, I am all for cloning of all kinds. With animals we can clone them and essentially make great progress towards solving world hunger. With cloning people we can more easiy find ways to cure genetic diseases, mutations, and defects and also allow infertile couples to have children. Organ cloning is one subject i don't know too much about so im afraid i really can't help you much there. I guess what im trying to say here is that the subject of cloning and why it's so controversial is because when we finally do perfect it we don't know how it will be applied to the real world. In reality the only ethical problem of cloning is application. I have heard crazy thing like making clones to be slaves for regular people and using them for organ transplants in adults even though the clone has to grow up first so the organs can fit the capacity of the body etc.
