Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Defining terms

veritas ( 05/18/2004, 04:23:40 )

After reading the top ten myths about cloning, I became intrigued about the argument over xeroxing the human soul. I think that the post defined its terms, but it made the assumption that everyone would come to the same definition of human life. The human soul is abstract, it is intangible, can it be soundly defined? That task alone is difficult enough, and I would think that it would be even harder to outline the nature of something that can't even be specifically defined. I'm not certain that you can clone an essence, but then again, I'm not sure that any evidence has come forth to prove otherwise.
