Re: Devil's Advocate-False Arg./Holy Spirit:*) ( 05/21/2004, 11:47:34 )Your first two statements were way off libfemme."1. That if the environment stays the same the religiosity will stay the same. 2. If the environment changes the religiosity will change"You went into it a bit, but this is one factor. Genetics are not. Genetics could be considered a factor if by heredity, there is coincidence.. however, not everything can be dealt by science. I swear, some peoples ideas here are borderline "Matrix." hehe.okay, moving on.. relegiosity can be caused by enviorment. specifically on the family level. okay, lets just list factors: enviorment family parents, specifically. culture location friends (peer pressure, role models and other linfluences)you can argue any of these points. your (libfemme) 1-2 arguements were stereotypical and inconsistent. a fallacy of a premise for an arguement. the whole arguement shouldve been rebuilt and more thoughtful and respectful to what a true arguement supporting malikar's point would have been.moving on, all of those factors cannot have the affects caused by the Holy Spirit, something you clearly don't believe in. it is through the Holy Spirit that the Lord changes the hearts of men. This enters a Pre-Destination, Free-Will, Sovereignty, Shared Control arguements... However, being the Calvinist I am, I can say with a clear conscience that is through the Holy Spirits work that men have faith in Christ, not by enviorment or culture; although the Lord may use them as tools in completing His work. ![]() This Message is being posted for educational purposes, as well as for comment and criticism, by the visitors to the HumanCloning.org Foundation website (www.HumanCloning.org ).
