Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: East of Eden

I knew I could count on you.I'm curious a bit, because, although I'm not a creationist, I see far less differences between evolution and creation than some do. If one takes the creation more metaphorically. If, for instance, humans began in one place, i.e. Eden and moved out from there, we would expect to see evidence of it in our DNA. And, in fact, DNA studies suggest that all human being alive today can be traced back to a small founding population of 10-20,000 people who moved out of East Africa about 1.8 million to 60,000 years ago depending upon which fossils you are talking about. That makes the timing different from Bishop Ussher's, but the circumstances not inconsistent with the biblican account so far.
