While it could very well happen in the middle East, (granted, there has hardly been a time, if ever, when war wasnt constantly raging there...) the reason why is because in each World War there were multiple world Super powers.. Most of the time up to 5.. WWI (Germany, britain, france, russia, US) WWII (Germany, japan, britian, russia, US) So in order for a major world war too happen, 1 of 2 things would have to occur... 1. Multiple more Superpowers arise 2. Every single nation in the world would have to combine to fight us. and who would be foolish enough to do #2.90% of the UN troops are American.. there isnt anyone strong enough to fight us for a world war.
