john l bachert ( 05/18/2004, 07:56:37 )it would be impossible to fully read the bible in depth, in one lifetime, firstly one must define all the parables, my brother and i spent better part of one winter delving into the bible from start.it was summer before we got through genesis and we were more confused by that time than when started. look friend i was refering to the stem cells from the rib of the male species or the possibility that maybe we were once ASEXUAL beings, do you know what ASEXUAL means? i don't believe in just parts of the bible, i veiw the bible in a entirely different context than christians religious beliefs. i see religion as something that was created intellectually for the better of man kind, for the continued exxistance of human life, but we seem to blow it at every turn with our ignorant desire for war and greed, creation of things that only kill us, either through addictions, pollution:air, water to name a couple. we are already trying to conquer space again, for what? to find another planet to populate/(colonize?) pollute, ravage with war and waste? start over? my book is not published yet, waiting for copyrights notification, the title is "HUMAN ORIGINS, ANOTHER POSSIBILITY", and i am following it up with a short story explaining how we may have came to be on this planet. i have received interest response from several persons who have read the transcripts and the introduction preface. including strongly religious persons. you see i don't discount the theories of creation or evolution, i have a theory in different context of the other theories. the key is to stop thinking in the programmed beliefs, think in the abstract of the norm. peace
