david ( 05/28/2005, 04:51:03 )I agree with you both on the practical and moral standpoint.Most of us here are in favor of therapuetic cloning, or cloning from stem cells with the purpose of treating degenerative diseases. But are you in favor of reproductive cloning as well?I'm inclined not to favor reproductive cloning because there are so many issues involved, both practical and ethical, and because the room for abuse is just so large. I have yet to hear one good idea about the purpose of full human clones. Most people make them sound like home appliances, with the end-goal of making other people's lives better.What do you think?
