Most people are not Christians. Therefore, most people do not believe the Bible to be anything more than a history book with some fanatical claims. Yet, through this controversy, not one person in the history of the universe has been able to find one contradiction in it, when taken into proper context. It is Christian belief that, while men did write the different books of the Bible, God used these men through the Holy Spirit. An exmple of this is in Romans 9:1. Apostle paul says, "-I am not lying, my conscience confirms it in the Holy Spirit-."When compared to other Ancient Manuscripts, the Bible blows them out of the water. Plato's Caesar's and Aristotles works, between the Date written and the earliest copy hold a gap in time of 1,300, 1000, and 1,400 years, respectively. and between the the three of them, there were a total of 22 copies. And these works are regarded as fact. However, the New Testament, was written before 100 A.D. with the earliest copies before 200 A.D., by that time, there were 5,300 copies. When dealing with the other manuscripts that were rejected to be compiled into what we know is The Bible. (Not the "popular version." For those other copies weren't ever taken out. They were simply never added in.) I don't know much about. I'm still fairly young, with much to learn. However, I will read up on it and try to get back to you within a reasonable time.
