nefretiri ( 05/24/2005, 18:24:46 )WELL THE INTENT IS NOT TO "COPY" SOMEONE ELSE AND YOU DONT REALLY COPY THE OTHER PERSON LIKE THE MOVIE WITH ARNOLD SCHWARZNEGGER "SIXTH DAY" IT IS MERELY A COPY OF A SINGLE PERSONS GENES AND IS THEN USED TO CREATE A CHILD JUST LIKE ANY OTHER. AND SINCE IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO RECREATE SITUATIONS THE CHILD ITSELF WOULDNT BE EXACTLY AS THE PARENT. LIKE IDENTICAL TWINS! YOU CANT CLONE A BRAIN. GRANTED THERE IS NO REASON TO CLONE IN THIS MANNER. BUT THE SHEER INTENT, I BELIEVE WAS TO CLONE TO HELP AID AGAINST DISEASES AND/OR EXTINCTION OF ANIMALS
