Illegal Beings: Human Clones

German ingenuity

libfemme ( 05/31/2004, 06:13:33 )

Germans say they've come up with a way to get potent stem cells from human glandular tissue that have similar properties to embryonic stem cells. (Yeah, we'll we'll see about that part.)They extracted stem cells from rat tissue, were able to make them multiply, and then froze them. They then tried the same procedure with tissue from a 74 year old person and it also seemed to work.Ok, they've extracted them. But what happens when they are transplanted? Do they work? That I have yet to read about, but I'm sure it'll come out.
