2 year saved by stem cells transplantlibfemme ( 06/03/2004, 09:32:35 )A two-year-old girl got a stem cell transplant 40 days ago at Duke University Medical Center. The child suffers from Sanfilippo syndrome, the absence of an enzyme critical in building connective tissue.Apparently the procedure has so far been a success.
