Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Neanderthals

libfemme ( 05/29/2004, 07:06:19 )

When I said Cain and Able may have wed women who had no more thought of God than "chimpanzees", I did not mean to suggest that they in fact married real chimpanzees. I meant that Cain and Able may have wed daughters of neanderthals. Neanderthals are still considered part of the humanoid family, they are just a much less intelligent or sophisticated species of humans. There is still controversy over whether we are descended from neanderthals, or whethere they were a "cousin" species that branched off from the same ancestor we did and took a different evolutionary path and finally died out altogether.Neanderthal graves do not seem to suggest that they gave their dead a ceremonial burial as the cro magnon did. Cro magnon buried beads, weapons and personal items with their dead. The neanderthal did not. Hence neanderthals anthropologists think they did not conceive of an afterlife or a spirit.Neanderthals are considered more animalistic--big and dumb basically.
