Taking Forever

US News.com has an editorial on stem cells the last paragraph of which reads:"A stem-cell biologist recently quipped to me that our children may live forever because of stem-cell work, but we are certain to die. We don't have forever for this crucial debate."I would like to see opponents of research on embryonic stem cells sign a pledge, that if their own life is ever at risk they will never accept a therapy that uses stem cells. And then leave the rest of us alone.
