Private Funding of stem cell researchlibfemme ( 03/01/2004, 19:17:37 )The news of South Korea's success in cloning human embryonic stem cells seems to be having a positive effect in the US. Harvard University is no longer waiting on federal funding, always a problematic idea in my view anyway, and announced it is using its resources in the private sector to inititate raising funds to finance research on stem cells to make the University "proceeding in the direction of establishing a stem cell institute."
