All too trueDavid ( 06/08/2005, 08:13:08 )I am a Christian myself and am therefore predisposed to believing that there is a soul. But I agree with you. If we are to make any headway in human cloning, we would have to take that factor out of the equation. Not because we don't believe in it, but for reasons of practicality.Under this scenario, let's tackle the two kinds of cloning: therapuetic cloning and reproductive cloning.I would give a big thumbs-up to therapeutic cloning or cloning of stem cells for the purpose of treating degenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. How could anyone not agree to that?I would also approve reproductive cloning or cloning of full body human beings, BUT only with proper regulation. Human cloning for people who want kids, but can't have them, is fine. But cloning for the sake of having servants or an army of followers is not fine. ![]() This Message is being posted for educational purposes, as well as for comment and criticism, by the visitors to the HumanCloning.org Foundation website (www.HumanCloning.org ).
