Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Questions from a 21 year old.

EverQuestioning ( 07/29/2004, 23:05:33 )

Ok, I consider myself an educated girl. I keep up with scientific discoveries (even though I'm a business student, in my last year of a degree. And then Next year going for my Radiation sciences degree, it took me a while to decide), with current events, genetics, I love biology, but I'm still puzzled. I know obviously if a human is successfully cloned that the memories and such would not be the same as the person that it was cloned from, but, the genetic make up would still be there and predispose the clone to have the same behaviour as the original right? maybe, I don't know, that was question one. Now, if that is correct (I'm going under assumptian) does that mean that if someone had found cells of say, Stalin (I'm russian, but a Canadian since the age of 5), does that mean that the clone would be evil? or have a lot of the things that come along in genes? second question. Also, does cloning give the clone the same diseases or a predisposition to the diseases as the original? that was question three. I hope my train of thought made sense. I also hope someone can answer these questions for me. Thanks, Smart Canadian Chick.
