Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: Student of Stem Cell Research

SC ( 09/10/2004, 16:05:14 )

The top colleges would probably be those that have pursued private funding. I think Harvard is spending a lot of money on stem cell research. Some of the earliest work was done in Michigan, and New Jersey has some of the more progressive legislation. If Proposition 71 is passed, California colleges will probably have a big advantage.I'm assuming that you're American, though. The United Kingdom is going to be the world leader if the U.S. doesn't get its act together soon. Other countries that are relative leaders include Korea, Israel, China, and Singapore. Read some of our past posts on which people are being funded and making discoveries. That should give you some hints on where the ground-breaking work is being done.Unless you're looking to get an advanced degree, I expect that you could learn about stem cells just about anywhere.
