Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: Sociological Issues

SC ( 10/05/2004, 16:59:42 )

Segregation exists already, like other social ills that people mistakenly attribute to cloning. People tend not to confront prejudice as long as it's directed at oneself or a member of one's perceived group (it's "okay" for women to hate other women, white people to hate other white people, etc.). Prejudice is harder to fight if it's not recognized first. Cloning makes some people more aware of social problems that already exist, but we also have to know about the problems in order to address them.
