Illegal Beings: Human Clones

Re: to all those who are pro clone/stem cell application(exclusively)

I'm glad you told me about the movement to make people who weren't born in the U.S. eligible to run for President, and I thought you had a very good point about the government controlling hemp. I'm glad you support cloning, and you make some good points on this forum. However, I think that what you're doing with regard to promoting your religion is dishonest. It's passive aggressive proselytization. No one's ever asked you whether you were a Raelian, or whether you had adopted the philosophy of the X Files as your belief system; you've volunteered all your beliefs without any prompting, all by yourself, repeatedly. There are lots of anti-cloning people who engage in back-door preaching here, but you've been here long enough, and had enough opportunities to learn, to do more than just say "I'm doing no worse than you."When penicillin was discovered, people didn't invent a whole new religion to go with it. Why should cloning be different? The more people see cloning as "different," the slower they'll be to adopt it. A new religion is harder for people to adopt than a new medical procedure. So why should I accept the idea that in order to keep your support for cloning, I have to accept your other beliefs, when those beliefs aren't going to help cloning get accepted any faster?
