Re: what is bad about cloning?
Hayley ( 12/02/2004, 19:00:15 )Cloning could be bad for several reasons: look at what has happend to animals, specifically Dolly. She had many harmful effects due to cloning. We should reconsider the cloning of humans before making it official. Every person is unique in there own way; a clone would be denied the sense of uniqueness, making them an outkast. Wouldn't a clone feel like their not good enough to even step foot on earth? We're Gods creation, not some other project asexually reproduced. Dont people from certain generations look for advice from other generations? Cloning would defeat the whole purpose, there would be no influence whatsoever. The human race would eventually die off. It would stay the same forever. Cloning could also be used for some harmful crime or weapon. We could clone the dead for all we know. Its as simple as collecting one cell. That's it! So anywho, thats several reasons why cloning is bad. And with the technological advances today that scientists can work with, who knows where cloning will lead us.
