It's like blaming all the Germans, past and present, for World War II and the Holocaust.The people who burned witches back then weren't true Christians, in my opinion, so you can't throw that accusation at Christianity.You say that the bible was a pile of crap written by someone who was bored. The guy must have lived for a good while to cover thousands of years of history. The bible was written by many people, over a great time span. Give me evidence that the bible is a load of pish by a guy with too much time on his hands, and I'll listen to you. Give me evidence that God doesn't want us to advance at all, from the bible (that is meant to be the word of God, the idea is that he indirectly wrote it through prophets and the like.), and that the Bible contradicts itself, and so on. "SO LASTLY, MY QUESTION IS WHY THE HEL* TO STOP NOW???? GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON THAT DOES CONTRADICT WHAT I SAID. " Give me some good evidence (I like evidence, don't I? :P) that you are right, and then I'll try to counter it.
