1000yrsfromnow ( 12/04/2004, 14:40:02 )thank you erin, i know my beliefs (theories) may not be relative. it just like the story of why the first whites came to this land now called america. it has been taught that they came here to freely practice their own religious beliefs without the dictationor persecution of the churches in the old countrys, plus freedom from the tyranny of the governments. what is the first thing that happened? they started telling the natives they must change their religious beliefs, then many the persons of the witchcraft cult were put to death for practicing their religion, since then the native peoples of this land have been grossly violated by some of the white government. now people are worried about the idea of cloning and stem cell application, many condemn it as evil like witchcraft, which is now a huge money maker in america, but there are no laws against it. now all this hype about not allowing medicinal cannibis, because it is a illegal dangerous drug. funny though how many people are addicted to cigarettes and alcoholic beverages( i was once) and we don't see any movement to ban those highly addictive drugs, do we? in fact our government condemns these terrorist groups and all the 3rd world governments who support and hide terrorist, yet our government harbors and protects terroristic groups under the U.S. constitution. now our government is trying to suppress the benefits of stem cell research and cloning from the general public, until it corners the market on the profits. anyway, that's some other points of veiw i have, i like and respect all of your veiws as well. peace, j.c. p.s. yes i'm an old hippie to
