alternate ( 12/06/2004, 10:16:01 )Well,just because youre a member of a party doesnt mean you agree with everything other members do.Im sure the labour party have plenty of back bench idiot's and possibly xenophobic thugs,you can dig up dirt on any party because the simple fact is the members are human.And as i said to you its very easy to be a BNP member and its very easy to not be a member,membership is £25 a year and you might put leaflets through peoples doors and go to a few meeting's,if you dont pay the next year you're not a member.Now call me stupid but is it really that hard for some thug to be a member? ER NO! clearly you just need £25.Lets say youre a xenophobic thug,which party would you most likely (given the choice) pick to be a member of,er let me see?But then its clearly steriotypical to say all members are what you say,sure it attracts them kind of people,but im sure if labour or conservative is as easy to be a member of that it too would have "dodgy" members,dont mean they are ALL like it though.Have you individually met and spoke to every member of BNP? from whom or where did you get your information as to nearly all members being thugs?Im sure you read it in some biased website,read a liberal newspaper or watched some tv program.We live in an age of political correctness and due to this you cannot trust all the media or even youre own conclusions,because you're own conclusions are likely to be media influenced.Plus (and more importantly) how does one expect a party to change and grow without intelligent rational members?If one was to use common sense one would realise that what you fear more than xenophobic thugs is intelligent members.Or at least if we think about it you should,why fear a party full of stupid people,stupidity wont get any party anywhere.On the flipside if all the members were intelligent maybe better decisions would be made,but they would still be far right wing based,maybe you should be more concerned about that and less concerned about thugs!.Thats how the media have no intelligence,if they want to tell you to fear a party then it would be better to make us all look highly intelligent rather than highly stupid.Obviously we are niether,its made up of people,and people are...well different,you cannot just fit what you fear into a catagory because that is stereotypical and THAT is prejudice and isnt that what youre against in the first place?Lets take the media for example; why is it that in english news and newspapers we dont hear much about attacks of black people on white.Steven lawrence is a good example,if a black person dies and its committed by a white person you never hear the f*cking end of it.But if a white person is killed by a black person,you may not hear about it at all,its either ignored or not much fuss is made about it.The problem is you see is we talk about equal opportunities but there is such thing as positive racism as well.To some extent many people are positive racists,thats where you employ a black person instead of a white person because you fear that not employing a black person causes the black person to claim you didnt take him cos he was black.And theres many positive racists and i HATE it more than anything else in the world,its so irritating to hear a black person call it "positive racism" like he's against it but not against it. "Er duh i got the job its fantastic,but my boss is a racist,but in a positive way of coarse" *sigh* and so it goes on.
