My grandmother was a victim of racism towards immigant mexicans when the INS burst in her home and were in the process of dragging her out of her own home with her baby. My dad and uncles came home early and stopped them but they would have hauled her off to Mexico. The thing is she is an American and has never even been to Mexico. My family is considered Mexican American but they were all born in America and have been here since Texas was taken from Mexico. I was completly offended by his whole comment. I am the product of mixing cultures and my favorite Uncle was muslim and he never sucked off the Government ever. He was a great person anyone would be proud to know.
