"Similitude" episode of "Enterprise" may be a turning point in Star Trek's attitude toward cloningSC ( 11/26/2003, 05:30:51 )Has anybody seen the latest Star Trek episode? I'm wondering how people think it will affect the image of cloning. Overall, I think it's a slightly more sympathetic portrayal of cloning than in other Star Trek episodes and movies, although the franchise had nowhere to go but up, in my opinion. Here's an address with links to the reviews: http://www.trektoday.com/news/241103_01.shtmlI've read two so far, and my favorite is the one from Television Without Pity's Keckler (about the third one down on the list in the link I've provided). It gives a full description of the episode, complete with snappy comments from people watching it, and analysis of the usual cliches and portions of the plot that make the least sense. ![]() This Message is being posted for educational purposes, as well as for comment and criticism, by the visitors to the HumanCloning.org Foundation website (www.HumanCloning.org ).
