Re: My objection to Christainity

Hmmm..Try reading Kay Arthur's "how to study the Bible". It is a book my Sunday school teacher, and my sunday school of 3 is studying on. IT will guide you through how to interpret the Bible. Remember it is Hebrew and Greek interpreted into English so sometimes what one word in English seems to be simply put, it may mean something else in the Hebrew meaning. God's wrath, for example, may be God's love in Hebrew. This is a theory of mine as an example of course, I do not know HEbrew nor Greek but as an explanation..And as for the experience, like I said, you can't trust anyone really. Ever heard of Benny Hinn? I consider him a fraud. HE says with God's power he has healed many of cancer and diease. But I watched many shows revealing his trick, and read about it too. Many of the so called 'healed' died of the same illness 3-5 months later after being touched by Benny Hinn. Now, I don't consider him 'evil'. I just think he is overloaidng himself with too much fame. He also uses a lot of his money to buy a mansion for himself in a tropical area. This may be Ok, but shouldn't most of it go to a charity or something as he is a minister? This is the same thing with many other ministers. As a Christian you never really can trust just anyone. Some are the true experience, others make Christianity look like a cult, or even the Occultic realms! Another thing about Kay Arthur's Book: It says that not all words in the Bible are to be taken literally. sometimes, meanings in thingsl ike parables or other documents recorded in the Bible are a metaphor, allegory, or used as an explanation. The Bible is a puzzle just waiting to be unraveled! There is so much mystery behind it that it can give ya a headache!lol Peace- eternal
