There is no evidence that there is any boundary to the universe. Now that may be difficult to imagine, but what humans can and cannot imagine is limited by the wiring in their brains, not by any limitations placed on the universe itself. There was a time when men could not imagine a world being round. The people at the other side would all fall off!Just because the common man could not imagine it did not stop the earth from being round all along. Reality exists independent of man's mind imagining it.Therefore the only way to know reality is to go out and check it. You can't figure it out in your head. You come up with a possible explanation then you make a prediction based on that explanation and go out and test it against reality.Is the world flat? Well if it is there should be an end to it. Therefore, it follows that if you go out in a ship eventually you'll fall of the edge. Ok, try it. You go out in a ship and you end up coming right back to home port from the opposite direction you started out in. Now how weird is that?If you just sit home and imagine what reality is, you won't know if you're right or not. You have to test it to see.Time and space are dimensions. Without time there is no way to measure a "beginning". The universe exists. That's it. It doesn't have a start and it doesn't have an end. You are able to conceive of God without a beginning so you are capable of conceiving "something" that does not need a creator. Why is it so hard then to imagine that neither does the inert particles of the universe? They simply exist.There can't be a beginning of creation, because a beginning implies a dividing line between two time periods. We don't have a word in our language for something without a beginning other than eternity. The universe is eternal.
