The first play of our season is going to be Caryl Churchill's "A Number", and I am organizing talkback sessions after two of the performances, in which the audience, the cast, and two invited panelists will take part. I wonder if you could put me in touch with one or two well-informed, articulate people in the Tampa area who are pro-cloning and who would be willing to serve as panelists in our discussion? In each case the other panelist will be a Catholic religion/ethics professor who opposes all human cloning (both of these professors are intelligent and kindly and very eager to meet someone with the opposing view). The talkback sessions will be after our Friday performance on September 16 and September 23. The play starts at 8:00 p.m. and is only approximately one hour long. The talkback will follow the play and will last approximately 45 minutes. Panelists will receive a copy of the play, two complimentary tickets to the performance(s) preceding the talkback(s) in which they participate, and a flexible season pass to the Gorilla Theatre 2005-2006 season. I will appreciate your assistance in this matter greatly. If possible, please respond quickly so that we can finalize the panelists' names for our press release? Thank you so much for your help.
